I prayed to our lord for a guide to my life

I prayed to our lord for a guide to my life And he sent an angel to show me the way

I prayed to our lord for light, To my darkness and he sent an angel to give my light

I prayed to the lord for forgiveness for being weak And he sent me an angel to hold me up, when I was weak.

I prayed to our lord for love, When I had no love of my own and he sent me an angel To give me love and to be with me

I prayed to our lord for understanding And the lord sent me an angel to show me the light And now with my angel by my side each day

I prayed to our lord to let her stay, For you see joycee you are that angel

The lord sent to me Dedicated to my wife ,honey angel joycee m.m
