Creating a Simple Program Sending SMS with VB6 and Gammu

I would love a simple example program to create Sending SMS using VB6, Gammu and MySQL database

Maybe you have to know and have already discussed about this, but just sharing it. For that use PHP, JAVA and others may have a lot, I try to use VB6. If later I add a lot of other interests.

combat equipment provided:
– Software VB6 course
– ODBC Driver (preferably the latest version 5.1) on the download here:

The steps are:
1. Install VB6, when it passed
2. Install Web Server, for example, had XAMPP
3. Install gammu / If it can be a ZIP donlot it, put it in Drive for example C:, instead of the folder so gammu. (let’s just been finished and is on C:gammu)
4. Find the file gammurc and smsdrc in C:Gammusharedocgammuexamplesconfig
5. Edit gammurc and smsdrc using notepad or another text processing.

In this fox gammurc file:

devices and ports: depending on your modem port
Connection: depending on your modem connection/mobile phone

6. copy files gammurc and smsdrc into the folder

7. run XAMPP-Control, click Start on Apache, click Start on Mysql
8. in the browser type http://localhost/phpmyadmin, create a database with the name of an sms, then IMPORT mysql.sql file located in

9. Install ODBC Driver, if it is finished go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Data Sources (ODBC), the DSN Users click ADD.

Install Your Favorite Applications in Ubuntu

This time I will discuss the application instead of the applications commonly used in Windows. Use the Ubuntu Software Center (USC), Synaptic Package Manager or Terminal to install aplikas-application below.

Anti Virus

In Windows there are AVG, Kaspersky is in Ubuntu there are ClamAV and avast!. Install ClamAV (at USC named Virus Scanner).

Windows has YM, MSN messenger, QQ, AIM, Gtalk, IRC. ‘m On Ubuntu can use Pidgin, Emesene, Empathy. Empathy has been installed by default in Ubuntu 10:10

On Windows you can use Skype, Ubuntu also has Skype.

Music Player

To replace iTunes, Winamp can use Rhythmbox, Banshee, Amarok. Rhythmbox is installed by default in Ubuntu 10:10.

Hard Disk Partitions Manager

Windows has Symanted Partition Magic, Ubuntu can use Gparted (available by default in Ubuntu 10.10).

Vector Graphics Editor

Windows have Adobe Illustrator. In Ubuntu you can use Inkscape.

Run through the Applications → Graphics → Inkscape Vector Graphics Editor.

Image Editor

Adobe Photoshop is well known in Windows as well with Paint.net. The alternative to this application in Ubuntu is the GIMP and the Pinta.

3D Graphics Design

Windows has a 3D Studio MAX, Alternative to Ubuntu is Blender.

Windows using Notepad, while in Ubuntu to use Gedit. Gedit is installed by default on Ubuntu 10:10. Run through the Applications → Accessories → Text Editor.

Office

Windows can use Microsoft Office, while Ubuntu has the OpenOffice.

Microsoft Visio

Applications such as Microsoft Visio diagrams in Ubuntu can use the HIM.

P2P Clients / Servers, File Sharing

For Windows Torrent Applications have uTorrent, Azureus, eMule. In Ubuntu can use the Transmission BitTorrent clien available by default on Ubuntu 10:10.

Open the Applications → Internet → Transmission BitTorrent Client.

Azureus can also be installed in Ubuntu. In using Azureus, make sure it is installed java.

CD / DVD Burning Tool

Windows can use Nero, Roxio Easy CD Creator. Ubuntu Brasero and K3b. Brasero installed by default (Applications – Sound & Music – Brasero Disc Burner). But the best tools in Ubuntu Burning is K3b.

Firewall Configuration

Tips to Overcome the Google Sandbox & Returns Website in Google's Index Part 2

If your website / blog hit by penalty in the form of the Google Sandbox, we must quickly overcome because of his recovery process takes a long time and if left unchecked will create a website / blog disappeared from circulation in Google Search.

In my case, the recovery process takes between 1-1.5 months. Many websites also take up to 3 months to get recovery. Here are some tips for recovering:

  • Periodic updates. Hiatus from the blog is okay, because there is no force, but do not be too long hiatus, will long rank position on the downside and the status can be changed to ex-blogger:-P
  • Avoid Duplicate Content. If you’ve written an article on another blog, do not copy-paste the entire article. Use the Excerpt or the first paragraph of the article and then link to the source article.

If all the above process is done, the next step to accelerate the recovery process is to sign up for Google Webmaster Tools service. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to Google Webmaster Tools through the link above using current Google account
  2. Add and verify your website / blog that we want
  3. Click the menu Site Reconsideration. This service is a mechanism for Google’s request to reconsider the website that we ask. If it is wrong, please forgive accompanied by proof that we already meet the rules of the Google Webmaster Guidelines, if there is inappropriate to give arguments.

Many articles suggest that we argue that Google is the wrong idea on our website, one assessment and others.

I personally take a different way. Besides being really guilty (hehehe …), I assume that Google will not be easily cheated:-D. I describe the following things at the time of reconsideration submit Site:

Tips to Overcome the Google Sandbox & Returns Website in Google’s Index Part 1

google sandboxSince late January 2011 yesterday, a visit to other of my website drop drastically. In addition to its existing solution and infrequently updated blog, one of the main causes is because of my blog from Google’s penalties in the form of the Google Sandbox.

WHAT IS GOOGLE SANDBOX

Website or blog that is entered into the Google Sandbox can be detected by looking at the amount of traffic requests, view the source of the visit and check on certain keywords on Google.

When my blog into Google Sandbox, the amount of traffic that visit over 500 unique visitors usually drop to below 200. Source of visit which is usually dominated by Google to be very little or not at all. Usually Google is the biggest contributor to traffic from search engines to my blog. Range to reach 80% or more of the total traffic originating from search engines. When exposed to the Google Sandbox, sending the largest traffic are Yahoo and several other search engines, and even then less than half the total shipment Google earlier.

The third thing is the position of your website/blog in the SERP (Search Engine Result Page). Many of my articles disappeared from Google’s search pages, but usually there at the top or at least on the first page of search results. When exposed to the Google Sandbox, a link to my blog article disappeared. If anything, whether it is on the page number. This is the cause of traffic requests drops drastically.

CAUSES OF GOOGLE SANDBOX

Why a website / blog Google Sandbox affected, here are a few reasons:

  • Website/blog contains a Trojan/virus. Not for fear of being penalized by Google but because not enough time to make a review on schedule :-). Paid review can reduce the credibility of a website / blog in the eyes of Google. In addition because not enough time, paid review nor do I put on this blog because of Google’s Sandbox. If still I let it, Google may not only eliminate the index but at the same time specify a website. Banned websites is a very severe punishment because our website is no longer indexed by Google.
  • Provide Paid Links. As with Paid Reviews, Google also hate paid links as paid links are usually placed to influence the installation of Google PageRank and the link is no longer purely on the basis of credibility but because the amount of $ $ $
  • Rarely updated. Website not updated for too long of course, will increasingly come down position in Google. If allowed to continue, the index will disappear or is on the umpteenth page of search results
  • Duplicate Content. Many bloggers are using a blog service in various places. Due to lazy to write and update regularly, the tendency is to do copy-paste the contents of raw posting to other blogs. If left unchecked, this will make these blogs are detected as a plagiarist and duplicate content penalties.

Login to Ubuntu with our Face Verification

We may already be familiar with the login using a password or fingerprint. But how to login using face?

You’ve probably seen in films about the sophistication of technology in accessing computers, laptops or entry into a door with a face authentication? Face is scanned through a video camera and if the face was recognizable in the database then you will be able to access computers or go into the room they will be.

Now on Ubuntu Linux already come true. Requirements that must be filled is in your computer must have a video camera / webcam.

Follow the way of installation as follows:

    select “Show the Screen for choosing Who Will log in.“

Then log off to see the results. Now each time you get into Ubuntu. Automatic face authentication screen will appear. if recognized face it will automatically go to Ubuntu desktop.
